The medical diet is a low calorie diet which gained great popularity because it promises quick weight loss in a relatively short period. There are several of its variants, but generally are based on the same method, consumption of less calories, which undoubtedly leads to weight loss.

The first cycle of the diet lasts for five days. The sixth and the seventh day are a pause, and then if necessary, start a new five-day cycle. The diet promises weight loss up to 10 pounds during the first five days.

Meal Plan:

The breakfast is the same for every day and should include:

-1 fruit  (can be orange, apple, peach, pear, but should not a banana or grapes)

-a cup of coffee or tea (without sugar and artificial sweeteners)

-2 slices of toast

Dinner:
-125gr boiled veal
-1 tomato
-1 orange
-1 slice of toast
-coffee or tea without sugar

Day 3
Lunch:
-1 orange
-1 boiled egg
-250-300 g Greek yogurt
-salad of lettuce or a cucumber

Dinner:
-125gr boiled veal
-1 orange
-1 slice of toast
-coffee or tea without sugar

Day 4
Lunch:
-Cow cheese 125gr
-1 tomato
-1 slice of toast

Dinner:
-125g boiled veal
-2 tomatoes
-1 apple
-1 slice of toast

Day 5
Lunch:
-200gr cooked meat or fish
-1 tomato
-1 rusks

Dinner:
-300gr carrots, peas or broccoli
-1 boiled egg
-1 tomato
